Ingredients

Pasta Primavera

  • 2 Cup Penne

  • 1/2 Carrot, Peeled & Julienned

  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper, Julienned

  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper, Julienned

  • 1/2 Red Onion, Julienned

  • 1 Cup Broccoli Florets

  • 1/2 Cup Mushrooms, Sliced

  • 3 Slices of Bacon, Diced

Seasoning

  • 2 Shots, White Wine

  • 1 Tbsp Honey

  • 2 Tbsp Roasted Garlic and Pepper

  • 1 Tbsp Parsley

  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar

  • 1 Tbsp Butter

  • Salt & Pepper

How To Prepare

  1. Cook the bacon in a frying pan. Let it cool before dicing it up

  2. In a pot, add water, salt, and oil and bring to a boil. Blanch broccoli for 2 minutes. Do not dump water!

  3. Add the penne into the water and boil for 8 minutes or to a desired bite texture

  4. While your pasta is cooking, set a pan on high heat - add your carrots, butter and brown sugar. Cook for 2 minutes

  5. Remove the carrots, and clean the pan. Add oil and bring to high heat, then add onions and mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.

  6. Add broccoli, bell peppers, white wine and cook for another 2 minutes.

  7. Add carrots and finish by seasoning all vegetables with 1 tbsp roasted garlic and pepper seasoning. Add salt and pepper to taste

  8.  Strain your pasta into a bowl, then add vegetables to mix.

  9. Add 3 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp parsley, roasted garlic and pepper. Mix these ingredients together again.

  10. Plate and top with bacon.
